Kazoku means family. Family is one of the most important thing in life. Our Family lived and owned a restaurant in NYC, we moved to Charlotte in 2021 and found out what we’re missing. It is our dream to bring Japanese atmosphere, authentic flavors of Japanese comfort food, and is our pleasure to introduce Japanese soul food and hospitality to Charlotte. We’re equipped to make any meal memorable. We promise you'll feel like family the moment you step through our door. Our focus is not on profit margins, but rather on the guests’ complete satisfaction. Kazoku Restaurant never disappoints! I ordered my favorite tsukemen dipping noodles, and as always, they were perfectly cooked with rich, flavorful dipping sauce. Their special lunch bento choices are also amazing — especially the Karaage chicken bento, which was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Great food, friendly owners and service, and excellent value — highly recommend!

I will definitely be back here!! The gluten free ramen tasted amazing and the mung bean noodles were cooked perfectly. The service was excellent and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. I want to come back to try so many things!! The atmosphere was pretty similar to ramen places in Tokyo and I didn't feel out of place dining alone either!

Best ramen we tried in Charlotte! Love the Kazoku white ramen, the taste is strong but not overpowering, the gyoza is good and the takoyaki ball is so soft and melting on my mouth.
